Before you arrive at College you will be sent various forms that you will need to complete, either from the Academic Office or Visiting Student Office. One of the most important forms you will receive is your College contract; the current template for Visiting Students can be accessed here: template_student_college_contract_vs
If you are going to be living in College then you will also receive information about this in the Spring and Summer, including an online accommodation questionnaire to complete. The next step will be to receive your accommodation agreement from Lady Margaret Hall - you can see a template of this here: template_lmh_accommodation_agreement.pdf. This important document sets out the periods that you are entitled to stay in College, the charges and payment dates for your accommodation as well as your rights and responsibilities. You will be sent your agreement by email before the start of the academic year (in August or September) and will be asked to sign, complete and return it to us before you arrive at College - we won't be able to check you in or issue your keys if we haven't received this.
You will also receive an email confirming your room allocation for the coming year - this will indicate your allocated building and room number, and you can take a look at our College map to see whereabouts this is on the site http://www.lmh.ox.ac.uk/about-lmh/where-find-us. On the College Accommodation section of this site you can find out more about our undergraduate and graduate accommodation. All rooms for new students are allocated on an individual basis, taking into account any requirements and preferences that you have informed us about. As we are trying to match hundreds of students to a set stock of rooms we are not always able to meet your preferences, but we will try to find the best fit for each individual and you will be living with or nearby other students from your year group.
