- These agreements set out the periods that you are entitled to stay, the charges and payment dates as well as your rights and responsibilities. You will be sent your agreement by email in September. We will not be able to check you in or issue your keys until we have received a signed copy back from you.
- You will also receive an email confirming your room allocation for the coming year - we try to find the best fit for each individual and you will be living with or nearby other students from your year group.
- You are welcome to email accommodation.manager@lmh.ox.ac.uk, if you have essential, specific queries. However due to the high volume of enquiries we receive in September, we’re unable to respond to general questions or provide additional details about individual rooms before arrival.
What should I bring to College?
Your room will include a bed, mattress with mattress protector, wardrobe or other storage, easy chair, desk, desk chair, desk lamp and curtains. All of our beds are standard single beds.
Utilities and heating are included in the accommodation charge.
Most rooms are fitted with an ethernet point and all have access to a wireless network.
Shared pantries are equipped with a fridge/freezer, cupboards, microwave, a hob and usually an oven and grill. They will also have kettles and toasters - it's best to wait and see what is already here before bringing your own appliances, or you could make a group purchase with your fellow residents.
There are over 400 covered bike racks in the college grounds (register your bike at the Porters Lodge and keep it secured to a rack at all times). You can also buy or rent a bike from Byke Ltd who have a depot at the college, or from our monthly bike repair man on his visit, or use our hire-by-hour community bikes.
Oxford City centre, just a short walk from LMH, has a great variety of shops, where you can buy basic supplies and homewares at a reasonable cost. The Jericho and Summertown areas of Oxford also have many charity shops which sell second-hand goods.
Students can also purchase a bedding pack from the College for £27.50 which includes a pillow with a pillowcase, a single duvet and cover and a bed sheet.
