Check in and collect your keys from the Porters’ Lodge (Lost keys will be charged for at £50 for a set of keys and a buildings fob). If you are coming by car there is no parking on the streets around the college but we will be able to allow you a short time parking to unpack etc.
Undergraduate Freshers and full-year visiting students are usually invited to arrive on the Monday of 0th week of Michaelmas Term. (The Monday before the start of Oxford’s term https://www.ox.ac.uk/about/facts-and-figures/dates-of-term )
College resident Graduate Freshers can arrive from 1pm on Sunday 29th September 2024, or you can apply with the accommodation.manager@lmh.ox.ac.uk if you need to arrange an early arrival. This will be dependent on room availability.
Astrophoria Foundation Year students - information about your induction will be sent separately by the Astrophoria Foundation Year team.
The extended Michaelmas Term for Visiting Students begins on Monday 9th September 2024. If you have any questions, please email visiting.students@lmh.ox.ac.uk. If you are a Visiting Student starting at LMH in January information on arrival, registration and induction events will be sent to you in due course.
If you need to arrive before these dates please contact accommodation.manager@lmh.ox.ac.uk once you have returned your accommodation agreement. If you are permitted to arrive early you may be given a temporary room - and asked to move in to your term time room at a later date.
Unfortunately we are not able to store student belongings on site prior to your arrival.
CHECKING YOUR ROOM
On arrival please take a moment to check and note the condition of your room and the pantry and other facilities. If you see anything that is damaged please report this by emailing accommodation@lmh.ox.ac.uk with photos if that’s helpful. this will make sure that we do not think you are responsible for the damage when we come to take the room back at the end of your stay.
