Checking-Out

Checking Out

At the end of each accommodation period undergraduates will be expected to check out of their room by 1pm on the day of departure, which is usually the Saturday of 8th week. You will need to remove all belongings from your room and return your keys to the Porters' Lodge. You should leave your room as clean and clear as you found it on move-in day and make sure that any rubbish left behind is in bin bags ready to go. All perishable items will also need to be removed from your kitchen. If you need additional rubbish or recycling bags - please speak to your scout during 7th or 8th week.

Personal belongings left in rooms after check-out may be disposed of without warning.

There are a small number of communal vac stores across the site which can be used over the vacations. All items must be clearly labelled with your name and room number and stacked safely. Bikes can be left in College over the vacations but please ensure that they are locked securely to one of the bike racks and correctly tagged.

We have limited spaces in the car park but a few are set aside on check-in and check-out days for students who are being collected by car. Please park just long enough to load up your belongings, and then move your car to allow others to do the same.

Ending your accommodation agreement

You can choose to end your accommodation agreement with us at any time by giving formal notice to the Bursary. Your agreement will set out how much notice is required and what charges you will be liable for. If you are suspending or withdrawing from College then it is important that you let us know as soon as possible, as you will be required to vacate your room.
